Terms of Use and Booking

1. Scope

This website is operated by the owner of Casa da Avó and lets you book Casa da Avó directly — a private holiday villa in Praia da Luz, Algarve.

2. The property

• Rental of the whole house, for the exclusive use of your group.
• A maximum of 6 guests, which may not be exceeded.
• Check-in from 16:00; check-out by 10:00.
• Minimum stay of 3 nights.

3. Booking and payment

• You pay a 30% deposit at booking to confirm your dates.
• The remaining 70% balance is charged automatically 14 days before arrival, to the card used for the booking.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include the cleaning fee.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Guest obligations and house rules

By booking, you agree to respect the house rules:

• No parties or events.
• No pets.
• No smoking indoors.
• No charging of electric or hybrid vehicles.
• Respect the maximum occupancy and treat the house as your own.
• The guest is responsible for any damage caused during the stay.

6. Liability

We make every effort to keep the website accurate and the house as described. We are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), such as natural events, utility failures or official restrictions.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute falls under the courts of Lagos, without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in force at the date of your booking.
